Looks like this Friday night is going to be a busy one.

In addition to the Terminal’s first anniversary celebration (see previous post), Bare Hands Gallery is hosting a honky-tonk dance party starting at 7:30, featuring live music, people celebrating birthdays, and plenty of cowpoke wannabes. And that same night, Nordys Gallery bids a festive goodbye to Birmingham with a party starting at 6:30. I’ve heard from a reliable source that the remaining art will be discounted for that night only. It’s sad to know that Nordys, which has been an inviting gallery with a great collection of colorful, interesting art and an always friendly owner, will be leaving the local art scene–so be sure to pay it a last visit this Friday night and say “thanks” to Nancy.
