I’m heading to Huntsville in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some cool old neon signs or ghost signs (old painted ads, most often found on brick walls downtown) that I should capture with my camera. I already know about the vintage McDonald’s sign on Memorial Parkway.

For that matter, it looks like I may go to Atlanta and/or the Florida Gulf Coast in coming months. Any Atlanta-area suggestions? I’ve always had a hard time finding printworthy vintage signs there since most have been torn down. On the way to the coast, I know I’ll be exploring Dothan for a couple of signs I’ve seen online. Any other ideas?
