Remember a while back when I mentioned that 2007 was designated (for tourism purposes) the Year of Alabama Arts? And that artists and art organizations could sign up to be included in promotional materials?

Today I discovered my art on the state tourism Web site! You can see it if you go here and choose “Artists” at the bottom. You’ll see my clickable name on the list.

It looks like the Year of Alabama Arts officially launches next month. (I heard a while back that Gov. Riley will be kicking it off at the Bluff Park Art Show in Hoover.) And it sounds like this Web page will develop into its own site in a few weeks. Can’t wait to explore it and check out all the Alabama art!
